SMS Terms

These terms cover the SMS messages Gilded sends to planners (account holders) who have opted in to text notifications. By enabling SMS in your Gilded account settings, you agree to these terms.

What You'll Receive

Gilded sends transactional SMS to planners about activity on their own events:

  • Document signing reminders (proposal viewed, client approved, contract signed)
  • Payment notifications (payment received, payment failed, payment overdue)
  • Client activity (intake form submitted)

You control which event types text you in Settings → Preferences. You can enable or disable each event type independently for email and SMS.

We do not send marketing, promotional, or third-party messages over this program. We do not sell or share your phone number with anyone.

Message Frequency

Frequency varies based on activity on your events. Most planners receive between 1 and 5 messages per week. Active periods (busy seasons, document send-offs, deposit windows) may produce more.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier. Gilded does not charge for SMS itself.

How to Opt In

You opt in inside your Gilded account by enabling SMS in Settings → Preferences. A consent confirmation step is required before SMS can be enabled, and the timestamp of your opt-in is recorded for audit purposes. Opt-in is required for each phone number; updating your phone in Settings → Profile doesn't transfer prior consent — you'll be asked to re-confirm.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can stop SMS notifications at any time by:

  • Texting STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) to any message you receive from us. Your carrier will block further messages, and Gilded will switch your account to email-only notifications automatically.
  • Disabling SMS in Settings → Preferences. Flipping all SMS toggles off in your account preferences immediately stops further SMS, regardless of carrier-level opt-out status.

After opting out via STOP, you can opt back in by re-enabling SMS in Settings (which re-confirms your consent).

Reply HELP to any SMS we send you, and we'll auto-reply with a quick orientation. For anything more involved, email us at support@gildedhq.com — we usually answer within one business day.

Supported Carriers

Gilded SMS works on all major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Information collected during SMS opt-in (timestamp, IP address, disclosure version) and the messages themselves are governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing.
