How to create your Gilded account, verify your email, and start your free trial.

Getting started with Gilded takes about two minutes. Here is how to create your account and start your free trial.

Creating Your Account

Head to the Gilded sign-up page and enter:

  • Your name — this is your personal name, not your business name
  • Email address — use the email you want to manage your business with
  • Password — pick something strong, you know the drill

Click Sign Up and you are almost there.

Email Verification

After signing up, check your inbox for a verification email. Click the confirmation link to verify your email address.

If you do not see the email within a couple of minutes, check your spam folder. The email comes from Gilded and the subject line will be something like "Confirm your email address."

You need to verify your email before you can start using the app. This is a one-time step.

Your Free Trial

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial on the Pro plan. This gives you access to everything — document builder, e-signatures, payment collection, branding, the works. No credit card required to start.

During your trial, you can:

  • Create events and build documents
  • Send proposals and contracts for signature
  • Connect Stripe and collect payments
  • Set up your brand presets
  • Create templates for reuse

At the end of the 14 days, you will be prompted to choose a plan. If you are not ready to commit, your account stays active but features are limited until you subscribe.

First-Time Setup

After verifying your email and signing in, you will land on your dashboard. Before you start creating events, it is worth spending five minutes on initial setup:

  1. Go to Settings > Business and enter your business name, address, phone, and website. This information flows into your documents via merge fields.
  2. Go to Settings > Branding and create a brand preset with your logo and colors.
  3. Go to Settings > Packages and set up your service packages with pricing.
  4. Go to Settings > Billing and connect your Stripe account if you want to collect payments.

None of these are required to start — you can create an event and build a document right away. But having your business details and branding set up first means your documents look polished from day one.
