How to create your Gilded account, verify your email, and start your free trial.

Getting started with Gilded takes about two minutes. Here is how to create your account and start your free trial.

Creating Your Account

Head to the Gilded sign-up page and enter:

  • Your name — this is your personal name, not your business name
  • Email address — use the email you want to manage your business with
  • Password — pick something strong, you know the drill

Click Sign Up and you are almost there.

Email Verification

After signing up, check your inbox for a verification email. Click the confirmation link to verify your email address.

If you do not see the email within a couple of minutes, check your spam folder. The email comes from Gilded and the subject line will be something like "Confirm your email address."

You need to verify your email before you can start using the app. This is a one-time step.

Your Free Trial

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial on the Pro plan. This gives you access to everything — document builder, e-signatures, payment collection, branding, the works. No credit card required to start.

During your trial, you can:

  • Create events and build documents
  • Send proposals and contracts for signature
  • Connect Stripe and collect payments
  • Set up your brand presets
  • Create templates for reuse

At the end of the 14 days, you will be prompted to choose a plan. If you are not ready to commit, your account stays active but features are limited until you subscribe.

First-Time Setup

After verifying your email and signing in, you land directly on your dashboard — no setup wizard. To help you get oriented, Gilded seeds a sample wedding (clearly badged, and it does not count toward your limits) so you can click through a finished proposal and see how everything fits together.

Your dashboard also shows a Getting Started checklist that points you to the setup worth doing — completing your business and personal info, setting up branding, creating your first event, sending a document, and connecting Stripe for payments. Each item links straight to where you do it and checks off automatically.

Nothing on the checklist is required, and you can complete the items in any order — but doing your business info and branding early means your documents look polished from your very first send.
